State-of-the-Art Dental Procedures
If you have broken, chipped teeth or are missing some completely, Drs. Sepiashvili & Mejia have the knowledge & technology to rebuild, refashion, revitalize & replace them. Our cosmetic dentists have studied these techniques extensively, completing many courses in tooth function & reconstruction.
Laser dentistry provides many new pain-free services for patients. Ranging from aesthetic soft-tissue surgery to mouth sterilization, preparation for a root canal or a cavity treatment has never been easier. A unique characteristic of laser technology is its ability to perform surgical incisions without pain, bleeding or inflammation. The laser seals the nerve endings, thereby avoiding the usual discomfort associated with traditional procedures.
Dental & Restorative Implants
Dental implants are essentially permanent, attached teeth that replace partials, bridges or dentures. A titanium implant is permanently attached to your bone & a prosthetic tooth (crown) is attached to the implant. Implants are preferred to bridges because they can improve your bite without damaging neighboring teeth (like a bridge can). Treatment can be finished in three to five visits over the space of about four to twelve months.
If you’ve lost teeth from decay, injury or periodontal (gum) disease, dentures are the solution. Whether partial or full dentures, they’re essential not only to your aesthetics, but also to your oral health. In addition to allowing you to eat as if you had never lost your teeth, dentures protect against facial sagging that would otherwise occur & give you a more aged appearance. Dentures will also promote your natural speech. Denture maintenance, combined with a regular regimen of proper brushing, can guarantee you a comfortable, healthy mouth for the rest of your life. Please call us today to discuss the numerous available options in more detail.

T-Scan is a digital bite sensor that allows us to determine exactly how much force you are applying to each of your teeth when you bite down. It gives us not only the total force, but how the force develops, allowing us to determine when certain teeth might be bearing the brunt of your bite, which can lead to jaw joint problems as well as potential damage to your teeth.NuCalm is an alternative to sedation dentistry that can help you feel comfortable and relaxed at the dentist’s office without drugs. Instead, NuCalm uses an advanced understanding of your brain’s relaxation mechanisms to trigger a near-sleep, meditation-like state. This not only helps reduce anxiety, it creates a truly rejuvenating experience.
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) allows us to stimulate several muscle groups at the same time, including both jaw muscles and neck muscles. This can help relax tense muscles and stimulate circulation in the neck and jaw. The result is that we can remove tension that can dislocate or damage the jaw joint as well as cause tooth wear, headaches, and other TMJ symptoms. It also allows us to take measurements of your “natural” bite, independent of muscle habits that may distort how your jaw moves.
Trios Digital Scanner
The Trios digital scanner takes the place of old physical impressions. instead of having to bite down into impression material, we just wave the wand over your teeth–literally–and the system creates a detailed, color, 3D image of your teeth. We can use this image for planning virtually any cosmetic dentistry procedure, from porcelain veneers to Invisalign. The images are highly accurate, allowing for great restorations. And because we transmit them digitally, they can dramatically speed the production of restorations and trays.
K-7 Evaluation system
The K-7 is the leading tool for gaining scientific measurements about the health of your jaw. It consists of three components: a computerized mandibular scanner (CMS), an electromyograph (EMG), and an electrosonograph (ESG). The CMS lets us determine precisely how your jaw is moving and precisely describe any irregularities. The EMG allows us to measure the muscle activity in eight different muscles simultaneously, so we can determine exactly where is the position of maximum rest in your bite. The ESG allows us to amplify, characterize, and record the sounds of your jaw joint. Together, these three components give us objective, scientific measurements of the state of your jaw joint, which allows us to design an evidence-based treatment plan for your TMJ.
